Automate Your Zoom Events with No-Code

Running successful live online events takes a lot of work. There are tons of logistical moving parts to manage - building out the guest list, sending calendar invites and reminders, tracking how everything went, etc.

Sadly, when you do all this manually, you leave quite a bit up to chance and become susceptible to human error.

Fortunately, there are easy ways to fully automate your Zoom events using No-Code.

What is No-Code you ask?

According to Makerpad, one of the leaders in the No-Code space:

“No-code is a way of both building on the internet and automating processes, without writing lines of code.”

But what tools can you use specifically to automate events? And what automations can you set up to make sure those events run smoothly?

Luckily - Makerpad just published a series of videos showcasing how to use Virtually, Airtable, and Zapier to do just that!

Create Cohort-based Course Events with Virtually

Virtually’s Virtual Event Manager (VEM) helps automate the hairy logistics of creating live online events. Some built-in event automations include:

  • Generating unique Zoom links
  • Creating and sending Google Calendar invites
  • Sending reminders to email and Slack
  • Sending feedback surveys
  • Collecting attendance data

In this tutorial video, the team at Makerpad showcases how to use Virtually to put these automations into action. These automations are especially helpful for organizations that run consistent events, like cohort-based courses, online communities, online learning programs, and more!

Automatically Add Members to Virtually with Zapier

This next automation focuses on who specifically you intend to invite to your events. With Virtually, you can import members and segment them using tags. This makes it really easy if you’re creating events for different audiences and prevents you from having to do a ton of copy and pasting email lists.

But what if you have a fluctuating member roster, where people sign up or drop out pretty frequently? That’s where member syncing using Zapier comes in handy. Check out this tutorial to learn how to set up this automation so you can make sure your member data is always 100% up to date.

Sync data between Virtually and Airtable

This final automation is all about helping you collect and disburse data so you can continuously iterate on your events.

Virtually helps you automate attendance tracking and qualitative feedback collection, which you can view right from within Virtually. However, it’s also possible to export that data to a third party tool like Airtable so you can visualize that data however you choose or even create a separate data repository that collects data from multiple sources - like Slack, Circle, your LMS, etc.).

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to connect Airtable to Virtually to automatically export attendance and feedback data in real time.
